From beach walks to boat trips – It’s all here in Whitianga


Wake up to ocean views and enjoy the simple pleasures of beach life right outside your apartment. Buffalo Beach, over the road, is perfect for a swim, a stroll, or just relaxing on the sand with a coffee in hand.

For a change of scenery, head to the wharf for a boat trip, wildlife cruise, or fishing charter. You can even catch the passenger ferry to Cooks Beach and Hahei, making it easy to see more of the beautiful Mercury Bay. 

The Coromandel Peninsula is made for scenic drives, with winding roads that take you through native forests, rolling hills, and along stretches of coastline where the views will have you wanting to stop for photos. The classic loop on State Highway 25 links towns like Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga, and Tairua, making the journey every bit as enjoyable as the destinations.

Arrival Information


Check-in time is between 2.00pm and 6.00pm. If you plan to arrive later than 6.00pm, please contact reception during office hours to make arrangements in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept arrivals after 10.00pm.

Our reception is open daily from 8.30am to 6.00pm, and we’re always happy to answer questions or share local recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival, or in the case of a non-arrival, will incur a charge equal to the first night’s stay for all apartments booked.

We recommend contacting us as early as possible if your plans change.

Departure Information

Check-out time is 10.00am.

Please ensure you leave your apartment by this time so our team has enough time to prepare the accommodation for the next guests.

If you plan to leave earlier than 8:30am please advise reception on check in.

Accommodation policies

  • Children three years old and under stay free of charge when sharing a bed with their parents. Please note that cots and roll-away beds are not available.
  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the apartments. Please let us know in advance if you have a service animal.
  • One standard vehicle parking space is provided per apartment. Parking for oversize vehicles and additional cars is available on the roadside.
  • A washing machine and drier with laundry powder available for guest use free of charge on a first in first served basis. Hours 10am – 4pm.
  • No parties onsite. All visitors please leave the property by 10pm.

For the comfort and security of all guests, carparks are security camera monitored, and managers reside on site.
