Right outside your Waterfront Apartment door you’ve got Buffalo Beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply taking a long stroll along the sand. The township itself is full of great dining, shopping, and local activities to enjoy, and just around the corner you’ll find The Lost Spring, where you can soak in mineral-rich thermal pools or treat yourself to a spa experience.

From Whitianga Wharf, explore Mercury Bay by boat, take the ferry across the harbour, or join a wildlife cruise. When you’re ready to venture further, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, and the Coromandel forest tracks are all within easy reach. For a full day out, take one of the scenic drives around the Coromandel Peninsula, where winding coastal roads and native bush lead you through charming towns like Thames, Coromandel, and Tairua.

Arrival Information


Check-in time is between 2.00pm and 6.00pm. If you plan to arrive later than 6.00pm, please contact reception during office hours to make arrangements in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept arrivals after 10.00pm.

Our reception is open daily from 8.30am to 6.00pm, and we’re always happy to answer questions or share local recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival, or in the case of a non-arrival, will incur a charge equal to the first night’s stay for all apartments booked.

We recommend contacting us as early as possible if your plans change.

Departure Information

Check-out time is 10.00am.

Please ensure you leave your apartment by this time so our team has enough time to prepare the accommodation for the next guests.

If you plan to leave earlier than 8:30am please advise reception on check in.

Accommodation policies

  • Children three years old and under stay free of charge when sharing a bed with their parents. Please note that cots and roll-away beds are not available.
  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the apartments. Please let us know in advance if you have a service animal.
  • One standard vehicle parking space is provided per apartment. Parking for oversize vehicles and additional cars is available on the roadside.
  • A washing machine and drier with laundry powder available for guest use free of charge on a first in first served basis. Hours 10am – 4pm.
  • No parties onsite. All visitors please leave the property by 10pm.

For the comfort and security of all guests, carparks are security camera monitored, and managers reside on site.
